    Sickening, and the worst part is no one besides the American people will do anything about it. Tim Walz and Chuck Shcumer (spelling?) will send another stern letter to Trump and get their little sound bites out there while people are being killed in the street. Walz should’ve sent in the national guard to get ICE out of the city after the Renee murder.

    We have to remember that this is what they want. This is what they’ll do to make us turn peaceful protest into violent protest. They want us to react more and more to give them more power.

    Buy a gun or guns.
    Get out there and protest.
    Get your ass in the polls and into your elected officials office with this and your protest.

    If all else fails, the call to action will come.

    Wtf. He pulled out a gun and shot while the person was already on the ground.

    Watching it again, he is the only guy not really helping. He goes to the first person and kind of acts like he’s helping but doesn’t do anything. Then he turns to the second person where three guys have him already down on the ground. Then he kind of looks lost. Then he pulls out his gun. No one else pulls out a gun even the guy standing right beside him.

    I don’t have to words to describe what I am feeling right now looking at what’s happening here. Can people not remember that each and every person standing in front of them has all the history: has a mother, a father, possibly have a child, all the laughter, all the tears that person experienced.. gone because someone decided to play a small god. Truly, I am not getting all of this

    His name was Alex Pretti, and he was a nurse trying to protect a lady the brown shirts had just assaulted.

    They pepper sprayed him, tackled him, disarmed him of his legally carried firearm, and shot him once in the back before mag dumping him in cold blood on the sidewalk.

    Not sure if this helps the subreddit but from a citizen of Minneapolis, to add some context:

    This shooting took place in the heart of Eat Street, a 17 block long stretch of diverse international restaurants on Nicollet Ave. Many of these restaurants were already heavy targets of ICE and struggled as a result. I am sure many of them will continue to struggle in the wake of this horrifying execution. If you are in the area, please consider visiting these restaurants during this time. If you are from out of town, please look into other ways to support the area (mutual aid funds, buying merch online, etc. Beyond Beurre Blanc, AKA local independent food critic Kirstie Kimball, is also an excellent resource). Thank you, Chefs ❤️
